Lana Del Ray – I loved both singles ‘Video Games’ and ‘Born To Die’ so got the album as soon as it came out.
What is the most shameful song you have on your iPod and what memory does it conjure up?
It would probably be Jedward!!! They made me download it! It just reminds me of how crazy they were on the X Factor.
What’s your favourite music video of the moment?
It would probably be ‘Turn Me On’ by David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj. It’s quite an eerie video, but a great concept and I love it!
What artist/music moment first made you think about wanting to be a pop star and why?
There are loads of artists that have inspired me as a performer – Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Bublé , Robbie Williams. Each and everyone of them are aren’t known just for their songs but for being great performers and live entertainers which is something that has inspired me.
If you could read one newspaper headline about yourself in 2012 what would it be?
‘Olly Murs breaks Europe!!'
Why should the public vote ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ as the Best British single at this year’s Brit awards?
They should vote for it because it’s my first No.1 single off the new album – a song that has loads of energy and is just a feel good record. The rap with Rizzle Kicks definitely was a great match and it’s a tough category that we are in, so please vote!
