Diane von Furstenberg not only showcased some deliciously sexy looks from her Spring 2013 collection yesterday at her New York Fashion Week show but also raised the bar for future fashion presentations by partnering with Google to showcase their uber-cool augmented reality glasses. Glass is Google's latest venture that looks like a simple pair of too-cool-to-function glasses but actually consists of a small camera which allows the wearer to film and photograph their viewpoint whilst also interacting online like you would with your smart phone! Very... Minority Report. Only sexier.
Diane herself, members of her design and production team and some of her catwalk models (some of which you can see in this post wearing the glasses) have been sporting Glass for the past week in order to capture the creative process behind the Spring 2013 collection and its runway show for a documentary entitled DVF through Glass, which will be screened this coming Thursday on Google + and YouTube. A must see, I'm sure you'll agree.
"I am so excited to introduce Glass to the fashion world and use this revolutionary technology to give everyone a unique perspective into fashion." Diane von Furstenberg
