Before I hit play on this I read that Solange will be releasing her new album True on a label run by a member of Grizzly Bear. I also read that the likes of Ariel Reichstadt and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes share songwriting credits on the record. So far so good. And then I hit play, not really expecting much, and within 30 seconds saw exactly why Beyonce had locked her sister (the true star of the family) in a dank basement all these years. This is no Crazy In Love wasps. That's for sure. It is actually like, so much better than 'that'. Directed by Melina Matsoukas.
