Rolls-Royce Motor Cars have teamed up with Karl Lagerfeld for an ultraexclusive photo exhibition at its headquarters in Goodwood, England. At the event, which actually happened on Friday, 14 large-scale photos of the luxury car brands automobiles were unveiled to a small number of select Rolls-Royce customers and VIPs. Karl also gave a talk about his showcase, which will run until Wednesday and will entertain smaller groups of people who unfortunately bear no resemblance to me. Lagerfeld told WWD that he took photos of the vehicles over the summer in Ramatuelle in the south of France, and among the models Lagerfeld photographed is a Phantom Drophead Coupé - which for your information is a delicious looking car. It is also important to note that Lagerfeld’s exhibition and address are part of a series of events entitled “Icons of Art” that draw links between ultraluxury cars and the innovation and attention to detail that goes into art-making. Kinda cool, huh?
