Daft Punk by Pierpaolo Ferrari for L'Uomo Vogue

Daft Punk by Pierpaolo Ferrari for L'Uomo Vogue

I shared Daft Punk's fabulously tacky L'Uomo Vogue cover with you last week and now it's time to dine out on their colourful feature in the July issue of the magazine.

You like?  I have to be honest with you wasps, this for me this doesn't work as well as it could have.  The robots do look super pretty and it's lovely to see them ditch the monochrome aesthetic for once but I feel the result is a tad too safe.  The cover promised Daft Punk on New Years and sadly the same energy is lacking from this spread.  It might just be a case of glossy robot overkill but I feel like I need these dafties to do a bit more than stand and look pretty the next time they grace a fashion mag, which will probably be next week at this rate.
