NSFW: Interview with Nick Wolanski (Part 1)

Hi Nick. Would you like to introduce yourself to my readers?
Hey Portis, thank you first of all for taking the time to enquire into what I do. I would gladly introduce myself to your readers.

My name is Nick Wolanski and I am an Artist, working in music as a sound engineer, producer and international DJ. I also work in many fields of entertainment including TV, film, events, modelling (glamour, erotic, fitness), and commercial realms. My focus right now is on building my own management company so that I can add much more of my own energy to the industries I work within.

I am a humanitarian, a philosopher, an alchemist and a bit of a comedian. Recently I created the United Underground Artists. This is my very own company and like the name suggests it is a collection of the world’s most incredible and loving artists from every walk of life. Soon I will start to produce my own line of adult films and would like to state at this point we produce eros or erotica and NOT PORNOGRAPHY, and yes there is a massive difference. The main difference being that we cater to female audiences with our heterosexual films and do everything we can to show that women deserve equal treatment in the world. They demand respect like men, deserve every single opportunity as a man and should be worshipped in many aspects instead of being treated like second class citizens. It absolutely shocks me to see how some parts of the world regard women. You can guarantee our movies will be designed to treat both sexes with respect and we will add sparkle to anyone’s sex life and outlook on sex in general.

Loves a bit of sparkle!

Talk me through an average day in the life of you?
I’m not so sure average is a word that pertains to me but here goes! Upon waking I like to ensure I'm firmly grounded so I will either meditate with some quick yoga or go outside and walk bare foot on the grass. Sounds crazy, I know, but that is the best way to bring yourself into body after sleeping and will ensure you have a clear and positive mind for the day ahead. Once this is all complete which takes no more than 10 to 15 minutes I’ll make my breakfast, as an athlete I know the importance of the first meal of the day and normally have eggs (scrambled), which answers that question as well, and a good bowl of oats with fresh berries and soya milk. Avoiding cow’s milk and any lactose containing products is essential for a clear head and pure body!

Being my own boss, my day is pretty much on my terms. There is nothing I have to do so I tend to focus on what is on my mind if that makes any sense. Before I do any sort of work I go to the gym for the first workout of two workouts per day. I’ll hammer into that for a couple of hours, listening to exclusive music I have been asked to sample, and to new creations made within our network. After that I will come home and make some more food, I EAT A LOT and will then begin to take care of business endeavours which could include making music, listening to music, viewing images of naked people whom want to work for our production company, watching erotic movies, choosing girls and boys to work with, designing websites, paying my artists, working on marketing strategies, and creative writing as I am at the start of writing my biography and also a training manual. This will take me to around 7 pm which is when I will go back to the gym for another workout and a run around the park for good measure. Back home after that and it’s time for friends, down time, yoga, movies, just whatever I am feeling really, but I am a massive bookworm and tend to read and write at night time and shit talk on twitter, trashing the so-called top 100 DJ's of our time. Then I will crash out in bed and dream of my next awesome day.

An average day in the life of you sounds exhausting!  Describe yourself as a child?
As a child I was very cheeky, adventurous, and thought outside the box from a very very early age. I was into sports but was very intelligent when it came to academics and got great grades in school and went on to attend university. And I was most certainly a trouble maker at school and during my younger years, a real practical joker.

Has much changed now that you are fully grown?
Not a lot, haha. I’m really still just a big kid to be honest. I like to look at life with child-like eyes and mentality. I think without that, life can become mundane, boring, regimented and really lose it humorous side. When I face things that would normally be considered problems, I do what I always did when I was younger... LAUGH.

I can see from your recent shoot with Dylan Rosser for tMf magazine that your body is in pretty good nick. How hard do you work on your body?
I work extremely hard on my body every day of my life. I also work on my mind with meditation techniques and live by a very Buddhist philosophy. Improving the mind is a sure-fire way to improve your body and I believe one to be a reflection of the other. I’m not sure anyone is blessed with a near perfect body. It requires a great amount of hard work to attain a body like mine. 11 years of hard gruelling training. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle not a hobby, you need to work at it every single day and anyone looking for shortcuts is destined to fail. Put the time in… the sweat… and the pain and you will be a rock.

How do you like to keep fit and which exercise do you secretly look forward to each session? Keeping fit is more than what you do with regards to physical exertion. Most of the hard work is done outside of the gym with strict diets and eating only good healthy clean foods. For my mind I practice yoga and meditation and for my body I do an abundance of activities: Dancing, weights, running, swimming, table tennis, badminton, cycling, boxing and numerous other activities. In the gym I like training my back and shoulders. Squatting is probably my favourite exercise right now along with anything arm related; bicep curls etc.

Finally! It's taken four years but I now have someone to play table tennis with!!! *Happy Dance*

What is your favourite body part and why?
100% my penis because it gives the most pleasure. I am also fond of my chest and arms. I kind of like all of my body really, there’s not really a favourite part. I think it’s a bit stupid to favour one part of myself compared to the others, maybe my other parts would get jealous and I’d have some kind of inner body civil war! :-)

Which part of your body gets the most compliments?
My penis, eyes, chest, legs. My fans are pretty flattering about everything which is amazing.

How did you get started as a DJ?
I was fired from my position as a firefighter in Scotland and decided to buy cd decks and pursue my love of music. I was heavily influenced by the Los Angeles underground circuit which really moulded my initial sound and opened my eyes to how the world really operates, which might I add, is exceptionally different to how we are told it does. After early success in my bedroom mixing and producing music I reached out to one of the world’s top gay venues, Heaven in London, where many of today’s number one DJ's started out and they gave me 7 weeks of work culminating in a main room slot spinning for almost 2000 people.

After that I played every major venue in London and started to look at playing in international venues.

A Nick Wolanski live set sounds like?
The end of the world and the beginning of a new one. My sets are very transcendental and full of love. I am a high-octane performer and my sets are very sexy, horny, underground, slamming. I like to take people on a journey and make sure when they go home at the end of the night that they are filled with positivity and will have, at least for a few hours, gotten away from there burdens. My sets sound like freedom, love and light. If they could talk that is; which I think they do, through people like me.

TBC

Part 2 of my interview with Nick Wolanski will be posted very soon, along with some music and other bits and boobs.  Part 1 is very much the "basic bitch" portion of this interview.

For all the details you need to know on issue 9 of tMf magazine.
