NSFW: Interview with Nick Wolanski (Part 2)

You have spun tracks in some very impressive venues around the world. What have been some of the highlights for you?
I have played many gigs in many locations. The highlight is always seeing the crowd lose control, dancing hypnotically, and then you know you’re doing your job properly. The Miami music conference was fun, I met Sasha, Ed Ormandy, Fanciulli Brothers and plenty other interesting people. South beach is always a treat around March with nothing but sun, sex, sand, the ocean and banging music. Playing Ministry with the 2 good souls was memorable, my first time in the iconic venue. My gig in San Francisco At The End Up was fantastic, the best crowd I have played to so far. I guess the highlight is the simple act of sharing my art and sharing in the art of others, getting to dance and seeing that endless sea of bouncing boobies.

I’d also like to hear a little about producing your own music and what you hope to achieve with the sound you are crafting?
My sound comes from deep down within my being. It is inspired by life and many of its aspects; my friends, workmates and from the natural universe. Producing the best music is about sharing and co-operation. I am still very new to production and due to my other business interests it is still not getting my full attention but I am on track to sorting that out. I work in many different ways to produce my records and the records of others. We are a team, a network all functioning like a rather giant music making machine. I will sometimes build tracks on my own with no help and sometimes I’ll work with other engineers. Sometimes I’ll have something ghost written. It all depends on where I am in the world and what I am thinking and feeling at the time.

I hope to achieve many things with my sound, but first and most importantly I’d like to contribute to helping heal the world and its inhabitants, spreading love, joy and peace through my intricately woven wave files. We aim to motivate, enhance, protect and evolve the human race and inspire and usher in a new world of compassion and understanding. That and I want to meet lots of smoking hot babes, party my ass off and just make some heads bob.

Where do you find inspiration for your music on a daily basis?
From everyday life, friends, cooking, reading, sports… Anything and everything, really. But life inspires life and life is music. Hope that makes sense. ;-)

It sure does! So this is awkward, but if you had to give up music or sex, which one would you say goodbye to (forever!)?
That question has no answer, it is rhetorical. Music is SEX. SEX IS MUSIC.

Is modelling something you would like to dedicate more time to?
I guess I’ll model… It’s not something I’m actively pursuing hard at this point. I have spent 10 years doing that and yes I would love to model more but I'm not gonna dedicate any more time to it. I am dedicating my time to helping my artists and helping them grow more as they did when they helped me.

A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
Shit talking to the so-called Top 100 DJ's on Twitter, eating pussy, smoking ganja, poppin disco biscuits and giving my jaw a good work out. But I don't feel guilty about any of it. It’s all part of making music mate.

I hear you! What is your biggest turn on?
Bass lines, boobies, sun, sea… Watching a gorgeous lady bust a groove to my beats.
If the world were coming to an end and you were allowed one last kiss, who would be lucky enough to land on your lips?
I’d kneel down and kiss the ground and thank it for supporting me. Besides that I guess mom would get a smooch on the cheek eh... Can’t forget where I came from.

How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Scrambled Jeeves.
What happens next?
What's coming next is something pretty spectacular!  I will be focusing on nurturing talent, producing my own erotic movies, running very exclusive parties and will continue to try to make a difference in our ever increasingly mechanical society to bring back lost values and to stand as a role model to anyone looking to change themselves, the way they perceive reality, and the world at large.  My own company is listed under the UNITED UNDERGROUND ARTISTS.  It is a force to be reckoned with people and will be public not corporate property.
Fun!

Thanks Nick!
