Many of you will have discovered Emily Ratajkowski in Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines music video. To avoid confusion, she's the naked chick in that clip. But if you are a regular reader of my blog, you might remember Emily's editorial for Treats! magazine which was photographed by Tony Duran back in 2011. Yes? No? Allow me to refresh your memory some. A definite "moment" I'm sure you'll agree, and it's one that I would say has contributed to 'the Ratajkowski Effect' we are now experiencing in fashion and pop culture.
What with recent high profile features in CR Fashion Book, GQ, and news of the 'sometimes actress' now bagging herself a starring role in the film adaptation of Gone Girl - this gorgeous beauty is doing pretty well for herself at the moment. And now, Emily is tearing up the pages of Bullett magazine in a boxing-inspired editorial by Olivia Malone.
This story, as you would expect, feature plenty of cheek. And don't get me wrong, I am thankful. But it's the swagger across Emily's face in these photos that I'm proper digging here. Emily Ratajkowski is a model who shows no fear in going all the way, and yet in my role as voyeur, I never doubt in her face or body that she isn't in complete control of every overly-sexualised photo she appears in, which makes this little lady quite the interesting proposition.
Major props also to Marissa Joye Peden who styled this shoot. Every look in this story is beyond amazing.
