NSFW: My New Interview with Jonathan Best for tMf Magazine

Some of you might wonder why I contribute to Dylan Rosser's tMf magazine, as it is quite a departure from the fashion photography and celeb oriented stories I share on my blog.  To be honest with you, I get a thrill out of working with great people and the models I have interviewed for Dylan's magazine have always been a pleasure to chat to.  The added bonus of course is that Dylan's magazine's celebrates the male form, but I think for the most part, it is the personality of the guys he chooses to feature in his magazine that shines through in his photography.  Everyone has a story to tell after all, and if the ones sharing their story just so happen to be naked hairy beasts then... yeah, count me in.

Here is a snippet from my interview with handsome cover model Jonathan Best:

Hello Jonathan. Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hi I’m Jonathan, I’m a club host, model and soon to be photography student.

Talk me through an average day in the life of you?

My days change a lot depending on work. For example a month to six weeks before a photoshoot or club night where I need to show my body, my average day is more structured and disciplined with a healthy low carb diet and cardio 3 days per week added to my usual gym routine.  The rest of the time I like to be lazy and watch movies, eat too much chocolate and biscuits, and happily put some fat on my belly.

You recently shot with Dylan Rosser for the new issue of tMf. What was the experience like?
Well it really was the perfect job, work is never hard with Dylan, he is very laid back and relaxed, I got flown to Ibiza, I worked only for two days and I had a week to relax in the sun, and I got paid for it.  It doesn’t get much better than that.
You’ve worked together before, right?
Yes, back in June 2013 I shot with Dylan in Ibiza for DNA magazine, that was my first time meeing Dylan.  I was excited because I had known and admired his work for some time, but I was also apprehensive because I was going to spend a week with someone that I had never met.  But my nerves were soon forgotten, we hit it off straight away.

Only this time, you are showing a lot more of yourself and let Dylan shoot you full frontal! Were there any nerves before the shoot?
I have experience with nude modelling, but my previous work has always been very artistic and less ‘sexy in a sexual way’.  This was my first ever full frontal shoot with a sexual theme. I don’t get nervous before or during a shoot, I am able to switch my personality to become a character who is sexy, confident and focused.  My nerves usually come before a publication is released to the public. I have been very lucky so far with many followers who support me and my work. I hope I receive the same support with this issue of tMf.

I'm sure you will.
